Automotive embedded engineers write the software inside vehicles — engine and body control units, infotainment, and increasingly the perception and control stacks behind driver assistance. Pune is arguably India's strongest city for this role, given the density of automotive manufacturers, tier-one suppliers and engineering services firms in and around the region. The work carries safety and process obligations that ordinary software does not, and familiarity with automotive standards is a genuine differentiator at interview.
