India's climate makes this a structurally necessary discipline, with demand from commercial buildings, data centres, pharmaceutical cleanrooms and industrial process cooling. Data centre construction in particular has raised the value of engineers who understand high-density cooling, which is a meaningfully different problem from conventional comfort air conditioning.
